Telegraph Harbour Marina: Located at the very back of the bay, on the sunny side, this inviting marina is situated in a park like acreage which is complimented by the natural beauty of the area. The spacious grounds provide room for walking, beachcombing, secluded lounging, or group activities. There are swings, horseshoe pits, volleyball court, shuffleboard, and picnic tables with adjacent barbecues. The large recreation building, equipped with a barbecue grill, propane barbecue and electricity, provides a comfortable spot for group gatherings in any weather. Continuous improvements to the grounds and buildings provide a clean and charming atmosphere. Dock attendants welcome boaters to 3,000 feet of moorage on wide, well-maintained floats supplied with 15 and 30 ampere power and water (water is limited to 30 gals/day). The fuel dock provides gas, diesel, and oils. Washroom facilities are kept spotless. At the well stocked store, the shopper will find dairy products, fresh baked goods, along with a variety of B.C. gifts, and books of local interest. Visitors enjoy both indoor and patio seating at the Licensed Bistro. The menu offers a delicious variety of home baked items, including full hot breakfast, lunch entrees, appetizers and dinner entrees. As well, each evening the Chef creates a Dinner Special. There is a nice choice of both domestic and global beers and wine to accompany your meal. Delivery of pizza and fresh baked homemade pies is available.
This spot has become famous among boaters for its 1950Õs style soda fountain serving freshly baked pies, thick milk shakes, ice cream cones, sundaes, and banana splits. The marinaÕs 30-year-old burgee collection, largest on the West Coast, adorns the large pavilion. Summer market on Sundays mid-May to mid-Sept. 9am to 1pm. We have wireless internet by Broadband Xpress and free high-speed wireless on the patio and in the Bistro. Services limited during the winter.
