Swantown Marina and Boatworks: Whether it's a visit, permanent moorage or vessel haulout, Swantown offers full-service boating convenience in a park-like setting. This Port of Olympia facility includes both permanent and guest moorage. A breakwater shelters security protected, concrete docks. Permanent moorage capacity is 656 slips for boats up to 92 feet.  The guest dock offers moorage for boats to 100 feet in length. Water and shore power are available. Other amenities include 24 hour security, public telephones, restrooms, showers, laundry, free wireless internet access, garbage, recycle services, used oil recycle, pump-out station, and a state-of-the-art 5 pump fueling station. A double-lane concrete launch ramp and parking area are available. Additional guest moorage is available at the Port Plaza, located on the west side of the Port Peninsula. Shore power is not available at Port Plaza dock. Reservations for Marina and Port Plaza guest moorage are accepted with a $5.00 fee plus the first night's moorage. Swantown Boatworks features a 82-ton Marine Travelift, 10,000 pound capacity telescoping boom crane and washdown with 24-hour emergency haul-out services. The 3-acre boatyard is fenced and lighted with capacity for 60 vessels. Other boatyard amenities include electricity, water and compressed air at all work areas. Repair vendors are available on-site and by referral.

Located on the East Bay of Budd Inlet, Swantown is picturesque and within easy walking distance to downtown, Olympia Farmers Market (open April through December), and several restaurants. Olympia is a great year-round destination. Festivals during the year include the Olympia Wooden Boat Fair in June, Capital Lakefair in July, and Harbor Days during Labor Day weekend.
